Why do we host New Wineskins Conferences?

Since our last global conference, it seems to many that everything has changed. Indeed, there have been tectonic shifts in every aspect of life around the world - culturally, economically, politically and spiritually. At the 2019 conference, we shared words from the Lord that our intercessors were hearing ~ Reset, Escalation and Acceleration. Wow! Only in hindsight can we see that God was preparing us for the global events that He knew were just around the corner.

Why do we host these New Wineskins Global Mission Conferences? Fruit from the last conference gives us some insight:

  • Partnerships that were formed turned into rapid Covid-relief efforts.

  • Health crises gave birth to global prayer calls laced with miraculous healings.

  • Inspiration from plenary speakers led to hundreds of non-believers in various countries accepting Christ through Discovery Bible Study over Zoom calls.

  • Cross-cultural workers who found their mission-sending agencies were deployed to unreached people groups.

  • Hearts that were broken for our persecuted global family engaged in increased prayer, rescue, and advocacy efforts.

Though circumstances and methods indeed have changed, as Christians, we know there are biblical truths that have not changed. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

The Great Commission has not changed: Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28-19-20)

The power that sends us out into our global mandate has not changed. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

By faith, we will gather once again at Ridgecrest Conference Center on September 22-25, 2022, for our 10th conference to celebrate, to reconnect, to learn and grow, and to hear God’s call afresh for the next season of ministry. We are excited that those who cannot travel to be with us in person will be able to access all the conference content via a virtual platform. Even churches and small groups can host a watch party from countries around the globe.

Our conference theme ONE MISSION will help us discover the new wineskins that will be required to fulfill our calling as followers of Jesus in these new global realities. As we congregate in North Carolina in 2022, our prayer is that we will not only re-engage relationally in one another’s lives and ministries, but that we will experience an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on us as a unique, apostolic expression of the Body of Christ to Be the One, See the One and Share the One True God until all have heard!

Please visit this page for all the details about our upcoming conference. Can’t wait to be with you next fall!
