About The APCN

Millions of believers around the world are persecuted and oppressed because of their Christian faith.  We need to be more aware of the plight of the persecuted church and be better equipped to support our faithful brothers and sisters around the world.  There is much that can be done through advocacy to change these realities.

Get Connected

Here are some ways that you can join us in advocating:

  1. Join the Anglican Persecuted Church Network’s Facebook group. This private group is active in sharing information and specific prayer requests from around the world. Apply by hitting the “Join” button in the top right-hand corner, we will be happy to have you in prayer with us after answering 3 quick questions.

  2. Pray!

    • Email Patricia Streeter to receive monthly country-specific information and prayer resources.  There is also an option to join her Zoom prayer meeting.

    • Use these litanies and lists of prayer needs for our persecuted brothers and sisters to invite your small group or church to pray for our persecuted church body. (Check back for more to be added soon)

    • Use these flyers/bulletin inserts as a model to share some general information about a region experiencing persecution, specific prayer requests, and ways to get involved. (Note that some information may need to be updated).

    • Join us in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) on November 5, 2023! From litanies to banquets, we have multiple ways for you and your church to be involved in the advocacy of persecuted Christians around the world.

Meet the Co-Leaders

  • Faith McDonnell

    Faith McDonnell has recently become the Director of Advocacy at Katartismos Global, a Christian non-profit organization founded by The Rt. Rev. Mrs. Julian Dobbs for the purpose of "Equipping the Saints." Previously she directed the International Religious Liberty Program and Church Alliance for a New Sudan at the Institute on Religion and Democracy, Washington, DC. Faith has been an advocate for persecuted believers and for wider human rights issues for over 27 years, speaking, writing extensively, and mobilizing church members. Faith organized rallies and protests, drafted legislation on religious persecution for both houses of Congress, and for the Episcopal Church. In addition to co-leading the Anglican Persecuted Church Network, Faith co-leads GAFCON’s Suffering Church Network with the Rt. Rev. Andudu Adam Elnail.

  • Patricia Streeter

    Patricia Streeter is a follower of Jesus with a heart for the persecuted church and world missions. In 1998, Patricia founded a ministry to the persecuted church that has grown beyond her church’s boundaries. As a volunteer for Open Doors USA, she has been invited to speak in various venues, and she has organized many events to bring prayer and advocacy to suffering Christians. She has also given MAP Talks (Mission Awareness Presentations) at several New Wineskins Global Mission conferences and served as Co-Leader of several Persecuted Church Pre-Conferences. In Sept. 2019 she, along with Faith McDonnell, established the Anglican Persecuted Church Network that she continues to co-lead. In addition, she also serves as the Global Mission Initiative Advocate for the Diocese of Western Anglicans.
