Our vision is to see an Anglican Church that is passionately committed to preach the Gospel and to make disciples of all nations in the name of Jesus Christ.

What is the relationship between Anglican Partners and New Wineskins?

New Wineskins is one of the founding members of the Anglican Partners (formerly AGMP) which now legally resides under the 501.c.3 of New Wineskins Missions Network. New Wineskins coordinates all activities of the Anglican Partners including administration, finances, and communication , and this network is overseen by the Anglican Partners Leadership Team made up of members selected by lot every year.

What compels the Partners to covenant together?

The Great Commission (Mt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-47; John 20:21; Acts 1:8) that declares all followers of Jesus Christ who seek to obey the Great Commandment to be the bearers of the Good News of God’s Kingdom and provides a mandate for Global Mission.

  • The Pressing Reality that after over 2000 years we have yet to see His Great Commission fulfilled, but do see much of the world languishing in spiritual darkness, need, and deep oppression.

  • The Urgent Need to make disciples of those who have not heard and responded to the Gospel, especially among those who live in societies with few or no believers and among the young who live in increasingly post-Christian societies.

We are a network. We are not a new global mission hierarchy.

Partnership is God’s mandate. It is mutual, measurable, relational, diverse and dynamic. Partnership is most effective through multiple relationships.

How is New Wineskins Anglican Partners funded and organized?

  • New Wineskins Anglican Partners is funded through annual dues and gifts by partner organizations, individuals, and churches committed to global mission.

  • New Wineskins Anglican Partners holds one in-person and one virtual gathering annually in North America to collaborate in missions. Membership dues cover the costs for these events and covers registration costs for a representative to attend one of the gatherings.

  • New Wineskins Anglican Partners is guided by a leadership team selected by lot from the Partners.

What is the process of becoming a Partner?

  • New Wineskins Anglican Partners invites like-minded Anglican organizations based in North America to apply to become Partners. Partners are in two categories: Agency Partners (Anglican non-profit mission agencies, missional ministries and theological institutions) and Ecclesial Partners (Anglican congregations, dioceses, and jurisdictions).

  • Partners are required to pay annual dues and commit to attend partner members’ gatherings. Anglican Partners believes strongly that face-to-face partner interaction and networking is crucial to promote collaboration in missions.

  • If you meet the preliminary requisites above, please email the New Wineskins your possible interest and your questions about the value of becoming a partner and you will be sent an application to apply.

  • The membership committee will review your application and determine if you meet the criteria for membership. An online interview may need to be held before a final determination can be made on the application.
