What are the prerequisites of becoming a partner?

In order to be considered a partner of New Wineskins, organizations must: desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled to the ends of the earth, affirm either The Daniel Declaration: A Call to Mission A Place To Stand or the Jerusalem Declaration statement of faith, be in relational fellowship with a member of our staff, our Board of Trustees, or an AGMP partner, and, be a mission-driven agency, ministry or organization.

Is this a membership?

This is not an official membership. Rather, as a network of networks, New Wineskins seeks to partner with other ministries to hasten the day of our Lord’s coming. Many of our partners have been exhibitors and/or speakers at our New Wineskins Global Mission Conferences, participate in our mission networks, or simply have resources that we encourage our missional community to use to expand the Kingdom of God.

Does being a partner mean I will be funded by New Wineskins?

We see partnerships as having many purposes and functions - collaborating on projects, sharing resources, and highlighting best practices, to name a few. However, the primary mode of our partnerships is relationships.

While we pray for the provision for our partners and may at times highlight their work in various ways or give a financial gift, at our discretion, we do not provide financial support as a requisite of our partnerships. Conversely, our partners may, at times, financially support the work of New Wineskins. To be clear, these partnerships are not tied to any financial obligations.

Anglican Global Mission Partners (AGMP) is a voluntary, networking partnership of 30+ Anglican global mission-committed organizations including mission sending, training and mobilizing agencies; theological institutions and schools; ecclesial jurisdictions, dioceses and parishes; and advocacy groups. New Wineskins is a founding and active member of AGMP and currently serves as their Coordinator.

What is AGMP?

On the 10th anniversary of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and the beginning of Archbishop Foley Beach’s second term of office, the ACNA identified 5 “marquee initiatives” of the Province with which they encourage their members to actively engage - the Global Mission Initiative is one of them. Jenny Noyes is the leader of the Global Mission Initiative. Its primary aims are increasing missional prayer, coordinating global partnership, and maximizing the effectiveness of our cross-cultural efforts by members of the ACNA. The initiative leaders meet weekly to communicate and coordinate how these five areas of ministry can help North American Anglicans become more like Jesus in our thoughts, words and deeds.
