PURPOSE


New Wineskins Missionary Network helps Anglicans to be more knowledgeable, active, and effective in fulfilling our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.

ACTIVITIES

  • Sponsors the New Wineskins for Global Mission conferences every three years since 1994. Over 1,000 participants from over 50 nations attended our 2016 New Wineskins conference. The next New Wineskins conference will be September 26-29, 2019 in Ridgecrest, NC. 
  • Serves as your online hub of mission resources from all Anglican Global Mission Partners so you can easily find what you need to raise mission awareness in your local context.
  • Publishes the Prayer Calendar quarterly with prayer requests and updates we receive by corresponding regularly with 100+ missionaries and cross-cultural workers around the world.
  • Publishes the ReachOut e-newsletter every other month with missions inspiration, event information and stories of what God is doing in the world.
  • Presents Mission Awareness Seminars in parishes and dioceses, adapting the seminars to your local situation to help you set priorities and plan your next steps in mission.
  • Highlights Unreached People Groups through training, prayer, and counseling ‘tentmakers’ who use their professional skills to share Christ’s love in countries closed to traditional missions.
  • Encourages prayer and care for Anglican missionaries by helping you learn how to nurture, encourage, and support missionaries.
  • Serves as a Missions Clearinghouse through networking and referrals for inquirers and potential missionaries, linking to a variety of Anglican and inter-denominational mission agencies.
  • Sponsors New Wineskins Roundtables to facilitate relationship building and resource coordination of mission efforts of dioceses and deaneries.
  • Networks with Anglican Global Missions Partners (AGMP) as a founding partner and member of the Steering Committee. "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together!"
